Pueblo de Panay Township – June 28, 2019 marks another milestone for Roxas City and Capiz, with the inauguration of Sitio Uno, the first condominium in Roxas City.
Financed by the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Sitio Uno is a project of Pueblo de Panay, Inc. (PDPI), constructed by Blue Chip Builders, Inc. (BCBI), and is marketed by Sacred Heart of Jesus Development Corporation (SHJDC).
Sitio Uno is 5-storey tall and boasts of amenities, like a swimming pool, multiple elevators, basement parking, back-up power, 24-hour security service, and commercial and retail establishments on the ground floor. Conveniently located on the Sacred Heart of Jesus Blvd. in Pueblo de Panay Township, it is in proximity to the Lawaan Highway, government offices, a college, a university, a hospital, and a mall, among others.
“Today we have proven the viability of condominium living in Pueblo de Panay (PdP) Township. This project supports the growing residential needs of a young Township, mainly driven by the Information Technology – Business Process Management (IT-BPM) industry, led by ePerformax Contact Centers which has grown to 775 people from 40 last year; Educational institutions like the University of Perpetual Help System – PdP Campus and C.H.I.LD.’s Academy; and other anchor locators/institutions, like Robinsons Place Roxas, the City’s Integrated Transport Terminal and its second Public Market,” says Pueblo de Panay, Inc. President and CEO Jose Nery Ong in his speech during the inauguration. He also thanked partners that have been supporting and helping PDPI in its advocacy of countryside development: “We are thankful to the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), and our Private/Public Sector Partners in helping us foster countryside development in this part of the Philippine Countryside. We will continue to seek their support as we embark on greater undertakings to help bring about more inclusive growth for our various stakeholders.”
DBP President and CEO Emmanuel G. Herbosa also signified their commitment to countryside development in a message during the said event: “We are pleased to be able to assist Pueblo de Panay, Inc. (PDPI) in their efforts to urbanize and encourage developments in Roxas City. The inauguration of this residential and commercial project is a fulfillment of our common aspiration. We hope that this project can further fuel the fledgling economy of the area and provide sustainable development not just here in Roxas City, but all throughout Capiz. DBP remains committed — to fulfill its mandate of providing accessible financing for shelter production and help spread the gains of development through the establishment of new communities outside of traditional urban centers in the countryside.”
